Following on from the success of the Summer School Holiday Activity Programme, Hadleigh Youth Academy organised a range of fun activities for children aged between 5-16 during the Christmas holidays.
Funded by Babergh & Mid Suffolk District Council, the activities include arts & crafts, decopatch, sand art pictures, pony rides & grooming to keep the kids entertained!! The workshops lasted for 3 hours and 100 places were offered to those who receive Free School Meals. Free lunches were provided and thanks also go to Abbeycroft Leisure, who supplied 60 Christmas Hampers.

During the School Summer holidays a range of fun activities was organised by Hadleigh Youth Academy.
The summer programme, which started on Monday 26th July, was held over 5 weeks through to Friday 27th August.
Funded by Suffolk County Council, the activities included arts & crafts, archery, fencing, drama school and tennis, with a full timetable to keep the kids entertained during the holidays!!
Some of the outdoor activities took place within the beautiful grounds at Kersey Mill, and we were also very fortunate to be given access to the fantastic facilities at Hadleigh Tennis Club.
A total of 398 children took part and we would like to thank all those for participating, not forgetting the parents and volunteers, who made the Activity Programme such a success.
Finally a special thanks to the following companies for their tremendous support - we couldn't have done it without you!
